For this project, the same homeowner, Edith Green, was looking to renovate the existing space of her current master bathroom. She envisioned a design to create a luxurious master bath that suits her aesthetic with a seamless and functional layout. She wants simple accessibility for all the features of the bathroom to allow her to age gracefully in her home. For her master bathroom design she wanted a luxury space that drew inspiration from the Renaissance painting Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli.
For this luxury master bathroom I have created a functional layout with optimal maneuverability and accessibility. The layout includes a central feature that serves as an intriguing focal point in the space. Using inspiration from the Birth of Venus painting in both composition and aesthetic choices I brought in different materials to visually display the conjunction of ethereal and earthly worlds. I additionally employed finishes that elevate the design into a luxury space and callback to the famous renaissance painting.
